We have an opportunity for a passionate talented engineer to help develop our FlipShare video desktop software. FlipShare enables our users to save, view, manipulate and share their video with their friends and family. FlipShare is continuing to expand as a gateway to many different types of services and access the desktop, TV devices, cameras, web services, content providers and consumers like YouTube, Facebook, and more. You must be the type of person that thrives on developing cool features and elegant user experiences for millions of customers.
This position is available in San Francisco or San Jose.
Appropriate candidates will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
• A passion for building top-of-the-line software in a fast-paced market-driven environment
• 5+ years developing widely used consumer-facing Mac/Win cross-platform desktop software
• 7+ years developing software using C/C++
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent
An ideal candidate would also have one or more of the following:
• MSCS or equivalent
• Experience with Nokia’s Qt framework
• Experience with video or image processing and manipulation

You will drive the creation of an extensible, scalable, and pluggable architecture that will form the core of our next generation application. .

• Experience developing component-based architectures with plug-in capabilities
• 5+ years developing software using C/C++
• 3+ years as a manager with a proven ability to attract and retain top talent
• BSCS, BSEE or equivalent
An ideal candidate would also have one or more of the following:
• MSCS or equivalent
• Leadership experience in waterfall or agile environments
• Management of remote or geographically diverse teams
• Experience developing cross platform applications, especially with the Qt framework
